About.

Workshop.  An activity at which a team engage in intensive discussion towards a shared passion.

Launched in 2019, we provide architectural services from initial concept through construction documentation and administration.  With ten years experience, our expertise and focus lies in commercial and public projects, high performance energy efficiency and indoor air quality, and understanding traditional and urban architecture.

Jonathan Saccoccio

Principal Architect

AIA, NCARB, CNU-A

Upon receipt of his Bachelor of Architecture in 2010, Jon returned to southern Vermont to pursue his license and continue working in residential construction.  His summers of construction work significantly inform his ability to design and deliver projects.

In the fall of 2014, Jon joined Stevens & Associates, where, as Project Architect, he added to his experience and knowledge on projects that range from residential to community planning and commercial works.

In 2019, he started JA Saccoccio Workshop, with the mission of continuing the type of work and service he provided at S&A.

His interest in the field focuses on how to merge design concepts with the pragmatism of implementing the ideas. He believes that a practical knowledge of both architecture and construction will produce innovative, effective and enjoyable spaces. He executes this interest through design but also working in his shop, experimenting with ideas in design and wood-working assembly techniques.
